How to enjoy

Daifuku

800 g KOON® Daifuku Premix

Recipe

  1. 800 g KOON® Daifuku Premix
  2. 1,100 g Boiling water
  3. Shortening (Adding shortening to the dough will help it not stick to the mixing bowl)
    Tip: Use a Flat Beater

Instruction

  1. Add 800 g of KOON® Daifuku Premix to a stand mixer and add a small amount of shortening.
  2. Measure 1,100 g of water and bring it to a boil. Then pour the boiling water into the mixer turn on the mixer at low speed, and mix for about 7 minutes.
  3. Rest the mixer and then use a spatula to spread the dough. Continue mixing on low speed for 7 minutes until you have smooth and soft daifuku dough.
  4. Let the dough rest until cool and divide the dough into small parts (20 – 25 g) and wrap the filling and fruit.
  5. Dust it with KOON® dusting powder.

150 g KOON® Daifuku Premix

Recipe

  1. 150 g KOON® Daifuku Premix
  2. 230 g Boiling water

Instruction

  1. Add 150 g of KOON® Daifuku Premix to the mixing bowl.
  2. Measure 230 g of water and bring it to a boil.
  3. Pour the boiling water into the mixing bowl and stir immediately with a spatula until the dough is smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into small parts (20 – 25 g) and wrap the filling and fruit.
  5. Dust it with KOON® dusting powder.
