How to enjoy

Warabi Mochi Premix

Recipe

  1. 100 g Warabi Mochi Premix KOON®
  2. 90 g Granulated sugar
  3. 500 g Water

Instruction

  1. In a pan, combine 100 g of KOON® Warabi Mochi premix, 90 g of granulated sugar, and 500 g of water.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a stove and stir continuously for 7 minutes until get transparent dough.
  3. Allow the dough to cool, or keep in the referigerator then cut it into the desired shape.
  4. Serve the Warabi Mochi with a sprinkling of kinako powder and accompanied by kuromiso (brown sugar syrup)

Tip: You can adjust the softness of the warabi mochi. For softer, more chewy warabi mochi, increase the amount of water. For firmer warabi mochi that is easier to chew, reduce the amount of water.
